A) This reaction happens when a match is struck to produce a flame: A form of phosphorus (P4) is mixed with potassium chlorate which is also in the match and friction causes a chemical reaction which tetraphosphorous decaoxide is made in the match along with potassium chloride.

B)If a match isn't available, a butane lighter can be used which takes place all in gas phase. If the combustion is not complete, the products are carbon monoxide and steam.

Google each chemical such as potassium chlorate if you don't know
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potassium_chlorate

and then write chemical reactions, then balance them, then get credit!

hi. if your still stuck with this then it would be 3

Code: Select all

3 P4 + 10 KCIO3 = 3 P4O10 + 10 KCI
