I'm having trouble balancing the redox reaction between (MnO4)- and (HO2)- in a basic solution since I'm not quite sure what the products are. Basically:
It says "Balance the equation for the oxidation of hydroperoxide ion, HO2- (aq) to O2 (g) by permanganate ion, MnO4- (aq), in a basic solution." This is so frustrating. :|
