Steps to balance equation

I have tried 6 or more times to balance this, and cannot seem to find what I am doing wrong. Can you please help.

Fe + HC₂H₃O₂ = Fe(C₂H₃O₂)₃ + H₂

The right equation is:
2Fe + 6HC₂H₃O₂ = 2Fe(C₂H₃O₂)₃ + 3H₂

Start with the O (and C): 2y = 6x => y=6, x=2

Look to the H: 24 = 18 + 2z => z=3
