Silicon Carbonate

Post by ocopa »

Hello,

i have seen the formula SiCO3, and a few internet references to it, but although i can get an equation to balance with it as a product, i don't know for sure how it can be produced.
(There are some internet references which say"silicon carbonate" but when you look they are really talking about the carbide).
Does anyone know of a commercial or laboratory method for producing it?
regards,
Gerry
