I dont understand how to calculate these concentrations!

Post by humbargal »

I have 90 mL of 0.025 M iron (III) nitrate solution that will be added to 10 mL 0.0058 M stock salicylic acid. From this standard solution, 4 other solutions will be created. Can someone help me calculate the concentrations of the following and explain. I don't understand and I dont know where to start. I need this for a lab

1. 10 mL of standard solution (Fe(NO3)3 & C7H6O3) + 0 mL of water
2. 7.5 mL of standard solution (Fe(NO3)3 & C7H6O3) + 2.5 mL of water
3. 5.0 mL of standard solution (Fe(NO3)3 & C7H6O3) + 5.0 mL of water
4. 2.5 mL of standard solution (Fe(NO3)3 & C7H6O3) + 7.5 mL of water

THANK YOU!
